Mailing
lists are a very simple way for you to automatically
share copies of emails of interest or importance on an array of
topics that you select
Mailing
lists look like normal email addresses, such as
zoom@domain.com.
But rather then the mail going to a person it is
automatically routed to multiple users similar to
blind copying. You can key the address
manually, or store it in your address book and use
it just like any email address.

When you
send an e-mail to a mailing list your job is
complete. A moderator will receive
it and if they approve it, it will
be distributed to everyone that has signed up on
that list. This
prevents spam, an over run of email, abuse, etc.

Those receiving emails through
the mailing list see only their email address and the message. This prevents them from doing a
reply all and bombarding everyone or from
getting any other email address on the list.
